Local Community Forum (LCF)

The Local Community Forum facilitates a dialogue between the airport and its neighbouring communities. It keeps members informed on the airport’s current operations and future plans and provides a space for members to give feedback and work with Heathrow, in order to deliver positive outcomes for Heathrow’s surrounding areas.

The forum’s objective is to help the airport operate sustainably while positively engaging with its residents, community groups, and industry stakeholders surrounding the airport. It aims to build relationships based on trust, credibility, and transparency, to ensure that Heathrow is the best neighbour it can be.

In 2023 and beyond, the forum aims to identify more opportunities to work with forum members on a variety of topics that matter most to surrounding communities and ensure a more collaborative agenda.

The LCF will also be looking to broaden the diversity of its membership to ensure that Heathrow is engaged with a variety of community stakeholders, that reflect a representative voice of all the local communities that live around the airport.
