Heathrow Local Growth Taskforce (HLGT)

The Heathrow Local Growth Taskforce (HLGT) is aimed at driving the growth of the local economy through both the community and Heathrow Airport itself.

The Heathrow Local Growth Taskforce (HLGT) will serve as a constructive partnership between Heathrow and its stakeholders, focused on driving local economic growth, job creation and business opportunities.

It will play a key role in both supporting and challenging the airport’s efforts to enhance economic development and community engagement, ensuring that local businesses and residents fully benefit from Heathrow’s contribution to regional growth.

The Taskforce will focus on:

  • Education, Employment and Skills

  • Supply Chain

  • Surface Access

  • Heathrow Development

  • Decarbonisation

Membership: The Heathrow Local Growth Taskforce is composed of Heathrow Airport Representatives, Local Authorities, Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs), Local Chambers of Commerce, Business Groups and Representatives from Education and Skills Partners.
